So it isn't just screen capture software causing the issue then. Which just goes to prove how flaky this software actually is. Marvellous, I love quality products! Funnily enough I have now used all 4 of my Sky Go slots as it takes it like a new client each time. Sky, get it sorted will you. So restored the Mac.
Hello aoife188,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. It sounds like an application or process is not completely closing or being removed. I'll be happy to help in any way I can.
Here are some suggestions:
Capture Software Mac Sky Golf
- From Activity Monitor, you can end the process directly without utilizing force quit. Highlight the process and the click the End Process icon (looks like a Stop sign with an 'X' in the center)
- If it still appears, you'll need to uninstall the app that is initiating this process. It might be under the same name: How to delete apps on your Mac - Apple Support
- To narrow it down, also be sure to check your Mac in safe mode: Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac - Apple Support You can also try a new user as well: How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac - Apple Support
Sky Capture Software
Thanks and have a great day.
