Design and Features
A plastic, black casing with glossy sheen surounds the eStation C510, which features a concave printing and feeding area up front. To its left side rests the detachable color screen and the top is hinged for scanning, copying and faxing. This printer houses a 125-sheet input tray, a 20-sheet photo tray, and a 15-strong envelope feeder. Its output tray can hold up to 50 sheets. Automatic double-sided printing is standard in the eStation C510. Inputs include one USB 2.0 port and an AC power adapter, but this printer is 802.11b/g/n WiFi-ready.
The eStation C510 features a thermal ink jet that can print or copy up to 33 pages per minute and has a 1,250-page monthly duty cycle. It prints with a 600x600 resolution for black ink projects, but up to 9600x2400 dpi for color pages. The flatbed scanner on top of this all-in-one features a 1200 dpi resolution and can scan 8.5x11-inch documents size. The eStation C510 accepts SD memory format only and supports borderless photo printing through the included HP Photo Creations software.
In addition to being a portable WiFi web browser, the 7-inch TouchSmart can access apps like Facebook, Yahoo! and Snapfish. Users can check their e-mail, weather updates and even browse and read e-books. All of this functionality revolves around printing, meaning users can download documents and photos from the device and print them wirelessly. Through its wireless capabilities, this all-in-one can receive print jobs from multiple devices and PCs. The eStation C510 is Energy Star-qualified and is compatible with Windows XP SP2 and Mac OS X 10.5 or higher.
